Vikings news at last.
THE Diss Vikings faced probably their
strongest opponent in the Norfolk ·
Darby Rosettes Petanque League last
Thursday in the shape of Les Garnier.
Earlier in the season, Les Garnier
had beat them 5-0 in Eccles but in the
return match the Diss side showed far
more resilience and won the match by
an outstanding scoreline of 4-1 and
52 points with only 26 points to Les
Garnier.
in the triples, Linda and 'Trevor Forder
together with Ronnie Bartrurn, won 13-
0 and Robin Coe, Tony Bigley and Bendt
Hansen won their triple 13-1.
In the following doubles, Linda and
Trevor Forder lost 13-10 while Ronnie
Bartrurn and Bendt Hansen won 13-10
and Robin Coe and Tony Bigley had the
formidable win of 13-2. I
Of the remaining two matches to play
Norwich White will be another strong
opponent.

From the Diss Express written by Bendt Hansen.
Vikings are now top of the league so.
